We left Blue Water Marina bound for our staging anchorage at North Cat Cay to cross the Great Bahamas Banks. The weather was as predicted, gusty winds on our nose and showers due late afternoon. No sooner did we get anchors down when it started to rain, and this was like a Florida summer thunderstorm. The rain went on for hours with winds as high as 29 knots.
